What customers should know about three-phase transformers

A three-phase transformer is an essential component in electrical systems, particularly in industry, mechanical engineering or energy distribution. It converts electrical energy between different voltage or current levels in the three-phase network and ensures that machines and systems work safely, efficiently and without faults.

In contrast to single-phase transformers, a three-phase transformer processes three separate AC systems simultaneously – this enables more even power transmission, lower line losses and a more compact design. The most common applications range from isolating transformers for galvanic isolation and control transformers in control cabinets to autotransformers that save space and weight.

Important for our customers: Three-phase transformers can be individually adapted to your requirements. This includes not only power and voltage, but also design, protection class, connection type or insulation materials. For special requirements – such as for export to the USA or Canada – we also offer UL-compliant versions.

For you as a user, this means that you don’t just get any standard transformer from us, but a solution that fits your application exactly – whether for a control cabinet, a medical system or an industrial control system. We advise you personally, accompany your project from the initial idea through to commissioning and remain at your side as a long-term partner.

Rely on our experience and let us advise you individually – we look forward to hearing from you.
